Seven P Productions is a UK-based independent film production company of eight working filmmakers. We develop, write, shoot, and deliver our own short films entirely in-house - from script to screen - and host our own screenings to bring our work directly to audiences.
Our current slate focuses on short-form narrative film, with features in active development. Individually, our members carry credits across documentaries, music videos, and experimental film, bringing professional range and hands-on experience to every project we take on.

Winning awards as a producer and teacher of students work including the 2015 Into Film Best Film by Under 12's category and 2019 Into Film Best Film by 12-15 year olds and 16 to 19 year olds and nominated for Best Under 12's Live Action Film in 2018 all screened at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square.
Winner of two British Youth Council awards for innovation for the project 'How Will You Hear Me?' and a Children and Young People Now Award for recent youth voice film ' Was Not Heard'. This film was also used by Public Health England as part of their online Psychological First Aid Kit for young people post-Covid lockdown.
Steven was born and raised in Tamworth in the Midlands. His adventure into filmmaking came later in life and ENTER the Dark Woods is his directorial debut.
Steven's exploration of film was shaped by Covid and online film courses. 7P Productions was formed via Zoom by a small group of Leicestershire and London based filmmakers. This warm, constructive and eclectic group supported each other to write scripts and then make short films together. 7P Productions has gone on to collaborate with filmmakers across the country.
As a Clinical Psychologist he brings a unique angle to filmmaking and focusses on the emotional and cultural drives of humanity. His extensive work with trauma shapes his darkened vision, whilst retaining hope for redemption.
Rhiannon is a writer and film enthusiast whose passion for cinema drives everything she brings to the Seven P Productions. Currently developing her first script for the company - a short film in active consideration for production - she represents exactly the kind of emerging talent the collective exists to nurture and platform. Mike brings over 30 years of professional experience across software, database, and Business Intelligence development to The Seven P Productions and on set, he is our sound recordist, delivering clean, production-quality audio on every shoot.
An exceptionally experienced and adaptable professional, Mike has worked across both Microsoft and Oracle platforms using a wide range of tools and languages including Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, Power Apps, RPA, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, C#.NET, VB.NET, Razor Pages, Business Objects, and SOAP Web services. He has managed testing on major projects and mentored less experienced team members throughout his career.
That depth of technical precision carries directly into his work as a sound recordist. Mike's ear for detail and his systematic approach to problem-solving make him one of the strongest assets on any Seven P Productions set. Great sound is invisible when it works; Mike makes sure it always works.
Shelley Hopkins is an artist-filmmaker whose work explores the relationship between sound, material transformation and perception. Working with analogue and experimental processes, she films everyday substances, chemical reactions and altered film stock, often at magnified scales. Developed through close collaborations with musicians, her films emerge through an iterative dialogue between image and sound, creating immersive audiovisual works. Screenings include Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Altered Images, Darkroom Festival, New Jersey Independent Film Festival, Ghent International Film Week and Ardennes International Film Festival. BECOMING has won awards for Best Experimental Film, Best Installation Film and Best Avant-Garde Film.
Wendy is a writer, editor, and emerging film director whose career has always centred on the power of a well-crafted story. With experience spanning membership magazines, longform profiles, features, speeches, and press releases, she brings a sharp editorial eye and the ability to restructure and shape content at speed without sacrificing accuracy or precision. That same instinct for narrative and detail now drives her work behind the camera - Wendy recently directed her debut short film Nuthatch with The Seven P Productions, translating a lifelong commitment to storytelling into her first feature on the director's chair.
Angel is a sound designer and recordist with 20 years of professional experience across sound, lighting, and video production. After six years as Assistant Head of Sound and Video at Leicester Curve Theatre, he brings a level of technical depth and precision to The Seven P Productions that elevates every project we make.
On set, Angel works with meticulous care as our sound recordist, capturing clean, production-quality audio in every condition. In post, his craft truly comes alive, layering textures and building intricate sound designs that add an entirely new dimension to the films we produce. His theatre background gives him an exceptional ear for how sound shapes an audience's emotional experience, and that sensibility runs through every mix he delivers.
Delilah grew up in Manchester UK where she performed and devised for a theatre before continuing on to train as an actor at The Arden.
As a versatile and vibrant actress, she found work across all fields; film, commercials, corporate, TV. She went on to complete an MA in Writing for Screen and Stage, and found her passion as a producer and director. She now lives and works in LA. As well as acting, she writes and directs her own short films, driven by the aim to create relevant, entertaining content with a strong political and social message, whilst ensuring a more diverse set behind and in front of the camera.
